Is This Right for You?
The CGE Model United Nations delegation may be a good fit for you if you are interested in global issues, teamwork, communication, and learning how to express your ideas clearly in a multicultural setting.

It is open to CGE students from a wide range of academic backgrounds and is not limited to political science or international relations majors. You do not need prior Model United Nations experience, and you do not need to feel highly confident in English or public speaking at the time of application.

Guided preparation and faculty support are built into the initiative, so students who are willing to learn, prepare, and challenge themselves are encouraged to apply.
What Participation Involves
If you join the CGE Model United Nations delegation, you take part in preparation activities over time and participate in a national Model United Nations conference.
This typically includes:
-
preparing together with other CGE students
-
taking part in discussions and group activities
-
completing preparation tasks outside of meetings
-
participating in an English Model United Nations conference
The schedule is designed to be manageable alongside regular coursework. Sessions are held about twice a month and are offered online or in person.
